Hotel Employee Advocates for Real Democracy
New York City Hotel Employees
The main purpose of this site is to provide as much information about the union and the By-Laws of each individual local as well as the constitutions of their respective international parent bodies. We also want to keep you informed of news as it relates to our union and our jobs and most importantly, to enlighten you of your rights as a union member.
We invite you to drop us a line about controversies at your hotel or restaurant if you feel they would be relevant. A forum is also provided for those that wish to speak out on any of the issues that touch their lives as union members.
Our union leaders may have lost touch with the members and much of this is due to lack of information. It's high time that the rank and file are informed. Only by having an informed membership can we insure that issues of import can properly be HEARD and redressed by the leadership of our union.
This site is for Union members only. If you are part of management please buzz off!
Management or non-union employees go here for your own area.

to make it illegal for hotels to replace PBX Operators with
voice mail systems. Explanation
